Freckled short sea bream (confirmed introduction)
Freckled short sea bream (confirmed introduction) ) has a body size of ♂6 cm; ♀3 cm. The body of Freckled Short Snapper is relatively elongated, with a black vertical stripe running from the body to the tail fin. The best way to raise spotted bream is in pairs.
When the Freckled Short Snapper male is fully mature, half of its head will have a yellowish-brown background, and its pectoral fins and tail fins will glow with yellow light. The left and right edges of the tail fin are edged with red like the Mark's short snapper. The red fin surface of the pelvic fin has a black line on the front edge and some white light. The black line on the side of the body behind the eyes is less obvious, and an oval pattern appears in front of the tail peduncle; five rows of dots on the body spread from the gill cover to the tail.
The biggest difference between the female Freckled Short Snapper and the male fish is that the male fish still has black dots on its cheeks, while the female fish does not, and there are only three rows of dots on its side. It is often mistaken for the "freckle" short snapper to be the "king" short snapper, but the rows of dots on the king are spread more delicately.
