(Reuters) – Apple Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 is delaying launching a podcast subscription service until June after some podcast creators had issues with their shows appearing behind schedule after downloading them, according to an e -mail seen by Reuters.
Apple announced in April that it was introducing a service that would allow podcast creators to charge for their shows, with Apple keeping a 30% commission for the first year of a subscription, then cutting commissions to 15%, as in its App Store. .
The service was originally scheduled to start this month.
