One of dozens of collaborations in the state, the Family Services Collaborative of the Lakes Area has served thousands of children and families in the communities of Brainerd, Crosby-Ironton and Pequot Lakes for nearly 25 years through a interagency partnership with Crow Wing County Community Services as their fiscal host.
Through this relationship and in collaboration with a unique network of schools, community organizations and local government agencies, the collaboration has provided innovative programs to meet the needs of children and youth facing complex issues involving them, them and their families, with multiple service systems.
To meet the growing needs of the community and increase the capacity to move forward towards their vision of a future where every young person succeeds in school, families are well supported to meet their physical and mental health needs and employers are finding support. Many talented locally, the Services Collaborative family is restructuring and creating a stand-alone 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. They are currently recruiting a CEO to lead this transition.
This position will oversee the organization’s financial functioning, fundraising, community relations and the successful overall performance of the organization.
