Commissioner Allison Lee announces her departure from the SEC By Cointelegraph


Securities and Exchanges Commissioner Allison Herren Lee has announced she will step down when her term ends in June.

In an announcement Tuesday, Lee noted that she will remain in the role until her successor has been confirmed. The SEC commissioner has spent less than three years in her current role, having been sworn in in 2019 to serve the remainder of a five-year term expiring in June.
