CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council Announces Diamond Awards | 04/22/2021

CUNA’s Marketing and Business Development Council celebrated Diamond Awards Week by announcing winners in 35 categories through a series of daily virtual awards ceremonies. The participation rate was exceptional for this year’s competition with 1,278 applications submitted. Six credit unions won Best of Show Awards, 86 Best-in-Class Awards, and 264 Diamond Awards.

“The Diamond Awards competition is the most prestigious competition for excellence in marketing and business development in the credit union industry,” said Amy McGraw, President of the Diamond Awards and Vice President of Marketing / Head of Business Development. experience at Tropical Financial CU. “Credit unions receiving these awards should be extremely proud of their accomplishments and know that their work represents the best examples of creativity, innovation, relevance and execution.”

A crisis management category was added this year with a reduced registration fee of $ 50. This new category as well as donations from the virtual conference generated an amount of $ 5,000, which will be donated to Feeding America, an organization with great impact across the country. Feeding America was the first choice of participants among the three charities listed, namely: Feeding America, Family Promise and The Salvation Army. A representative from Feeding America joined the virtual awards ceremony to accept the donation.
