Free Zoom Gardening Webinar offered with Brainerd Public Library

“Flower Gardening for Beginners” will be presented by Master Gardener Jackie Burkey at noon on May 11 via Zoom.

The presentation will be an overview of the basics for new gardeners. This class is designed for novice gardeners, but experienced growers are also welcome. Free Master Gardener Courses at the University of Minnesota Extension Crow Wing County Master Gardeners will run through December 2021. Monthly presentations hosted by a UMN Certified Extension Master Gardeners in Crow Wing County will cover topics ranging from from gardening tools to squash. Master Gardeners are trained volunteers at the University of Minnesota whose job it is to educate the public on a variety of horticultural topics. The educational effort of the Master Gardeners program is aimed at improving the quality of life of the public and promoting good environmental stewardship.
