LEESVILLE, LA — Ken Hughes, President / President and CEO of Merchants & Farmers Bank announced that Wendy Lentz has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing.
Lentz, marketing director of the parish of Vernon and Calcasieu is responsible for leading the overall marketing of the bank, coordinating all advertising, facilitating business development, promoting sales of banking products / services and website design.
With over 23 years of experience in the banking industry, Lentz has worked as a Cashier, Cashier / New Account Representative, Financial Services Member / Representative, ATM Service Specialist, Business Development Coordinator and Customer Service Representative / loan secretary.
Lentz was one of the first cashiers hired to work at the Walmart branch of Merchants & Farmers Bank in 1998.
A lifelong native of Vernon Parish and a graduate of Pitkin High School, Lentz earned an Associate’s degree in Office Systems Technology from Louisiana Technical College Lamar Salter in Leesville. She resides in Cravens, Louisiana with her husband, Jesse, and their three children: Shelby, Zeke and Charley. She is also a certified notary.
