The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce has hired three new key employees in recent months to help tell the region’s story and strengthen the
the local economy.
Lindsay O’Brien is the new Coordinator, Marketing and Social Media.
She supports Chamber sales, marketing, communications and events through marketing, promotions, social media and multimedia creation.
A native of Quad Citizen, O’Brien graduated in Graphic Design from St. Ambrose University. As a freelance writer, she created content, campaigns and graphics for the entertainment industry, including musicians and shows such as “The Tonight Show” and
“MTV Music Awards”.
Jennifer Verscha is the Chamber’s new Marketing Director.
She develops marketing campaigns to drive collective marketing efforts in several areas, including business attraction and talent attraction.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, her family moved in 1995 to Quad-Cities, where she received a bachelor’s degree in management and a minor in marketing from WIU-QC. Most recently, she worked for several years as an executive producer at dphilms in downtown Rock Island.
Since May, Jennifer DeWitt has served as the Chamber’s director of content strategy – a role previously held by Jack Cullen, who in April became the new director of downtown Rock Island.
A 30-year former reporter for the Quad-City Times and Bettendorf News, DeWitt is the lead storyteller and editor of the Chamber’s marketing team, led by Jennifer Walker, vice president, marketing and sales.
