Sindh Gas Production Areas To Stock Up: Asad – Newspaper

HYDERABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar, has said that gas supplies in Sindh’s gas producing districts will soon be guaranteed, along with other development plans.

Speaking at party workers’ meetings and receptions organized by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Tando Allahyar and Tando Mohammad Khan on Saturday night, he held the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) responsible for “poverty and hunger ” from the people. of Sindh faced today.

PTI leaders Ali Palh, Zulfikar Shah, Firdous Shamim Naqvi and others were present on the occasion.

Mr. Umar said that the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) centers would be opened at the taluka level in all districts as directed by Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that the people of Sindh felt deprived because they faced injustices in the past.

Hold PPP responsible for poverty and hunger in the province

He said that only the ‘Zardari league’ was responsible for poverty and hunger in Sindh because the PPP had focused solely on corruption.

The minister said the federal government would provide jobs for Sindh’s educated youth on merit. Sindh deserving individuals had been provided financial assistance under the Ehsaas Kifalat program, he added.

He said that Nadra was again conducting a survey for the Ehsaas Kifalat program. Easy loans were provided to help people build homes, he said, adding that a special package was provided for the growth of the agricultural sector.

He said that Tando Allahyar was a rich agricultural area but, like elsewhere, farmers were not getting adequate prices for their produce. He announced that a food processing unit would be established in the district to allow farmers to make better profits.

He said the Nadra center in Jhando Marri taluka would open soon at the request of Ali Palh.

Mr. Umar said that the prime minister would approve the development plans for Sindh soon. He said that a package on the pattern of the Karachi package would be announced for other parts of the province.

He said that the prime minister had ordered him to visit different parts of Sindh and see what kinds of developments could be made in the province.

The minister said he could have designed schematics while sitting in Islamabad, but that would have been without evaluating the realities on the ground. He said conditions in Sindh could not be changed as long as the province is ruled by those who add fortunes in Dubai, England and France while exploiting the Sindh name.

He said that Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari may not have known that his maternal grandfather was a martial civil administrator and that the first PPP government was formed 50 years ago.

He said that God had given natural resources to Sindh that did not exist in other provinces of the country, but it was ironic that the rulers continued to prosper in this province while the masses continued to suffer economically.

Umar said that Tando Allahyar would get gas supplies in his villages and suburbs. He said the prime minister believed that the area that was producing gas should give him priority. He promised to raise this issue with the Ministry of Petroleum and it is hoped that in the next budget allocations will be made for the supply of gas to these areas.

Ali Palh informed the minister that four gas fields were operating in the district, but still towns and suburbs were still without gas.

He called for the abolition of contractual employment in the gas fields. He demanded the establishment of a federal university and a technical school in Tando Allahyar.
