UK convenes committee to examine fallout from triggering Article 16

(Reuters) – Britain activates key government committee to examine fallout from suspension of cooperation on Northern Ireland, Sky News reported readying-for-major-clash- avec-eu-as-it-convenes-a-committee-to-examine-the-fallout-of-article-16-trigger-and-suspend-cooperation-in- northern-ireland-12453512 Thursday.

UK ministers are holding discussions in the key cabinet committee, which oversaw preparations for the fallout from Brexit, on the implications of triggering Article 16, which allows the UK to stop following parts of the protocol Northern Ireland, the report added.
