The SC refused to interfere on the suspension issue itself as it was being investigated by Hyderabad HC.
The Supreme Court ordered the Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Thursday to consider the apology letter delivered by YSRCP MLA RK Red and take appropriate action on it.
The SC indicated that the letter It should be considered without prejudice, and be thrown out, after Roja’s lawyer argued that no action had been taken.
However, the high court also refused to interfere in the Nagari lawmaker’s own suspension issue, as the case was being investigated by the Hyderabad High Court.

In March 2016, a Hyderabad High Court judge lifted his suspension from the assembly. The clerk of the legislature later challenged the ruling.
In March of this year, the AP Assembly Privileges Committee recommended his suspension for one year, but left the final decision in the hands of the Speaker.
